Our office staff will try to provide answers to any questions you may have regarding fees and billing inquiries. These fees depend on the severity or complexity of your health problems and take into consideration the advanced specialized training and experience obtained by your physician to be able to meet your unique health needs. Aside from our office consultations and hospital visits, your physician spends several hours reviewing your medical records and test results, and consulting with other healthcare providers regarding your special health needs. Additionally, your physician continuously reviews current and past medical literature for new and better ways to improve your health and well-being. Our practice serves patients with chronic to severe medical needs. Patients who regularly miss appointments cause other patients a delay in care or cause them to be seen at a later date or time. Please be courteous to other patients and our practice by keeping your appointments.
To encourage all patients to attend their appointments, we charge a $50.00 “No-Show” fee, which your insurance will not pay for. This fee will be waived each time our office is notified of a rescheduling or cancellation prior to the scheduled appointment time.
In accordance with California Health and Safety Code Section 123110 (HSC § 123110), we may charge 25 cents per page plus a reasonable clerical fee for copies of your medical record, upon written request submitted to our practice.
